Artist
Fusing my Swiss heritage with my American life, I combine childhood themes with 1940s vibes in my collage-like paintings. My work draws from memories of growing up in the 1950s, influenced by the visual language of the era—including Dick and Jane primers—and is often anecdotal in nature, shaped by narrative rather than symbolism.
While others may describe my work as evoking a tension between the wonder of youth and the darker undercurrents of daily life—such as the contrast between childhood hopes and the hidden imperfections of family—I see my art more as storytelling: personal, reflective, and rooted in memory rather than commentary.
I am available for commission work.
